OHLAM Account and Data Deletion

1. Request Account Deletion

You can request account deletion either:

2. What Happens When You Delete Your Account?

Once an eligible account-deletion request has been verified and processed, OHLAM will delete or anonymize personal information associated with the account that is no longer required.

Depending on your use of OHLAM, this may include eligible:

• profile information;
• contact information;
• account information;
• property-listing information;
• uploaded media;
• appointment information;
• messages or communication data where deletion is appropriate;
• device and notification information;
• identity-verification information where retention is no longer necessary; and
• other personal information associated with the account.

3. Information That May Need to Be Retained

Deletion does not necessarily mean that every database record can immediately be erased.

OHLAM may retain limited information where reasonably necessary for:

• applicable legal or regulatory obligations;
• accounting or financial transaction records;
• payment, refund, settlement, withdrawal, or escrow records;
• preventing fraud, scams, abuse, or account recreation intended to evade enforcement;
• security investigations;
• unresolved complaints or disputes;
• legal claims;
• enforcement of platform rules; or
• protecting OHLAM users and the platform.

Where information must be retained for such purposes, it will no longer be used for ordinary account activity and access will be restricted to the legitimate purpose requiring retention.

4. Active Transactions and Disputes

Where an account has an active property transaction, unresolved payment, escrow obligation, withdrawal, refund, appointment dispute, investigation, or other unresolved obligation, OHLAM may need to resolve or preserve necessary records relating to that matter before deletion can be fully completed.

This does not permit OHLAM to retain unrelated personal information indefinitely.

5. Deactivation Is Not Deletion

Disabling, suspending, logging out of, or uninstalling OHLAM does not itself delete your account.

A deletion request initiates the process for deleting the account and associated eligible personal data.

6. Processing Your Request

OHLAM will seek to process verified deletion requests within a reasonable period, subject to identity verification and any legal, security, transaction, or dispute-related retention requirements.

If additional information is necessary to process your request, OHLAM may contact you using the contact information associated with your account or the information supplied with the deletion request.
